Are there limits?

How Wallet limits actually work.

Overview

Kashu lets you fund your account with your available credit and use it as cash. Kashu does not impose strict platform-wide caps, but your usage is subject to issuer restrictions and card-network rules. Exceeding these may trigger reviews or temporary holds by your bank.

Key points

  • Kashu itself does not set hard limits. Your card is effectively the limit.

  • Issuers may flag unusually large or frequent transactions.

  • Daily and monthly thresholds exist for fraud prevention and regulatory compliance.

How it works

  • Connect eligible cards and your receiving bank account.

  • You can move up to your available credit, subject to issuer approval.

  • Large, repetitive, or cash-like payments (for example, same-day cycling) may be blocked or delayed.

Kashu safeguards

  • Limits are dynamic, and each payment is capped at 60% of a card's utilization for safety and compliance.

  • A 24-hour cool-down period applies between transactions on the same card. Multiple same-card transactions in one day may trigger a review.

Card-issuer guidance

Every issuer is different. Reference the guide for your card in "Connecting and using your cards" (Amex, Chase, Capital One, US Bank, or other major issuers).
