How do I connect a credit card?

Linking the cards that fund your Wallet.

Overview

Connecting a card lets you convert available credit into usable cash. Connections use secure OAuth technology and bank-level encryption, and Kashu never stores your raw card details.

Key points

  • Supported: U.S.-issued Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover.

  • Not supported: prepaid, gift, or international cards.

  • Issuer approval is required. Kashu cannot override bank restrictions.

Step-by-step

  1. Log in to Kashu and open your dashboard at app.kashupay.com.

  2. Go to Cards. Select Cards → Add Card.

  3. Enter your card details. Card number, expiration date, CVV, and the billing address that matches your bank's records.

  4. Verify with your bank. Some issuers send a one-time code or fraud alert to confirm the new connection. Respond promptly.

  5. Confirmation. Once approved, your card appears under Cards → Linked Cards, ready for funding.

Policies & restrictions

  • Allowed: linking your own personal or business cards, connecting multiple eligible cards, and removing or updating cards anytime.

  • Prohibited: linking cards that are not yours, using prepaid or gift cards, or bypassing issuer restrictions.

Compliance

Card connections are governed by Kashu's Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and your card issuer's rules. Card data is encrypted to PCI-DSS standards.
