How can I release payment(s) on hold?

1. Check Your Dashboard

  • Log in to see the status of your payment.

  • If documents or confirmation are required, you’ll see instructions there.

2. Verify Your Identity (KYC)

  • For new or high-value transfers, Kashu may request ID, SSN, or proof of address.

  • Upload requested documents promptly in the app.

3. Confirm Bank Details

  • Ensure the receiving bank account information is accurate.

  • A failed or mismatched account can delay release.

4. Respond to Bank or Card Issuer Alerts

  • If your card issuer or bank flagged the transfer, approve it directly with them.

  • Some issuers block cash-equivalent transactions until verified.

5. Contact Support if Needed

  • If your payment has been on hold longer than:

    • 3 business days for standard transfers, or

    • 1 hour for instant transfers,
      reach out to Kashu Support for review.

  • Holds protect you from fraud, chargebacks, and mistaken payments.

  • You’ll never be charged extra fees because of a hold.

  • Real-time updates keep you informed until release.
