Overview
Connecting your bank enables quick, secure withdrawals from Kashu Wallet to your own account. Kashu uses bank-level encryption and Plaid, and never stores your bank login. During setup Kashu gets read-only validation access only, and funds always require your explicit authorization.
Key points
A U.S. bank account is required for transfers and withdrawals.
You can link multiple eligible U.S. bank accounts and remove or update them anytime.
Step-by-step
Log in to Kashu on the mobile web app.
Open your settings. Select the user icon (bottom right), then Linked Accounts.
Select your bank. Choose from the supported list or search by name, then connect via Plaid.
Verify securely. Log in through Plaid's secure portal. Some banks require a one-time code.
Confirm. Kashu validates the account, which then appears under Profile → Linked Accounts.
Policies & restrictions
Allowed: linking business bank accounts you own, and multiple eligible U.S. accounts.
Prohibited: linking accounts you don't own, or using unsupported international or prepaid accounts.
Compliance
Bank connections are subject to Kashu's Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and your bank's authorization rules. Plaid connections are tokenized, and raw credentials are never stored.
