How do I connect a credit card?

Connecting a credit card

Updated over a week ago

Overview

Connecting a credit card to Kashu allows you to instantly convert available credit into usable cash. All connections use secure OAuth technology and bank-level encryption. Kashu never stores your raw card details.

Key Points

  • Supported: U.S.-issued Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover.

  • Not supported: Prepaid, gift, or international cards.

  • Issuer approval is required — Kashu cannot override bank restrictions.

Step-by-Step: Connecting Your Credit Card

  1. Log In to Kashu

    • Open the Kashu app or website and go to your dashboard.

  2. Go to Wallet

    • Select Wallet → Add Card.

  3. Enter Card Details

    • Provide:

      • Card number

      • Expiration date

      • CVV (security code)

      • Billing address (must match your bank’s records)

  4. Verify With Your Bank

    • Some issuers will send a one-time code or fraud alert to confirm the new connection.

    • Respond promptly to your bank to complete the process.

  5. Confirmation

    • Once approved, your card will appear in Wallet → Linked Cards.

    • You can now use it for credit conversion and transfers.
