Updated over a week ago

How to Add Funds

  1. Open the Kashu App

    • First, you will need to add a card

    • If you have cards added then on the home page select "Transfer in"

  2. Select Card to Charge & Enter Amount

    • Specify how much you want to add.

    • Kashu will display all fees and delivery options upfront.

  3. Confirm & Authenticate

    • Review the summary screen and agree to the Terms & Conditions

    • Authenticate with your PIN, Face ID, or fingerprint.

    • Hit "Submit Payment"

    • Funds will appear in your Kashu Wallet once processed.

Policies & Restrictions

  • You must complete identity verification (KYC) before funding your wallet.

  • Kashu supports U.S. residents with valid SSNs. ITINs are not accepted at this time.

  • Some funding types (e.g., gambling, unapproved crypto, debt repayment) are restricted due to card network rules.

  • Incorrect bank details may delay transfers, but Kashu does not charge failed-funding fees.

Security

  • Bank-grade encryption secures all transfers.

  • Fraud Shield monitors unusual activity to keep your wallet safe.

  • Kashu never stores your full card or bank credentials.

Example Use Cases

  • Converting credit into working capital for your business.

  • Adding funds to cover upcoming rent or supplier payments.

  • Keeping cash ready in your Wallet for peer-to-peer transfers.
