How do I cancel a transfer?

Payments & Transfers

Updated over a month ago

Overview

Transfers through Kashu are processed quickly to ensure funds move without delay. Because of this speed, cancellations are limited. You should always double-check transfer details before confirming.

Step-by-Step: Canceling a Transfer

1. Check Transfer Status

  • Go to your Wallet Activity tab.

  • Review the transfer status:

    • Pending → In rare cases, you may be able to request cancellation.

    • Processing → Cancellation is not possible, as funds are already being routed.

    • Completed → The transfer is final and cannot be reversed.

2. Contact Support Immediately

  • If you believe the transfer was made in error, email [email protected].

  • Include:

    • Your registered email address

    • Transfer date and amount

    • Recipient bank or account details

  • Our team will determine if the transfer can be intercepted or flagged.

3. If the Transfer Cannot Be Canceled

  • For completed transfers, Kashu cannot pull funds back.

  • You may need to coordinate directly with the receiving bank or party.

  • If fraud is suspected, report it immediately so we can secure your account and initiate the proper dispute or fraud investigation process.

Policies & Restrictions

✅ Allowed
