How do I create a Kashu account?

A quick, step-by-step guide to create your account, verify your contact information, and secure your account.

Updated over a month ago

Step-by-Step: Creating an Account

  1. Visit Kashu

  2. Create Security Credentials

    • Enter your email username (this will serve as your username)

    • Choose a strong password (minimum 8 characters, must include letters and numbers).

  3. Verify Contact Information

    • Enter your phone number

    • Enter the over-the-phone (OTP) one time code to verify your number.

  4. Biometrics and PIN

    1. Enable Face ID (optional) or biometric authentication on your device for faster and more secure sign-ins. Face ID replaces manual PIN entry on supported devices but does not substitute for required KYC verification.

    2. Set a secure PIN (mandatory). This PIN acts as a secondary authentication factor for account access.

  5. Accept Terms of Service

  6. Finish Setup

Watch: An optional visual aid is attached to this article to help walkthrough the process.
